Goodbye, Old House!

It is officially Moving Week at the Sharrow household. Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be moving out of our old house, and Wednesday we will be moving into our new house!! We are wondering whether any tears will be shed on Tuesday when we leave our old house for the last time. We've spent the last 4 1/2 years here in our first home! However, it is time to move on and move up.

Here are a few pics of the old house, as well as a cute one of Cole eating squash....or maybe it's sweet potatoes. Either way, YUM!!

Five months makes a big difference!

This is the winter hat that Grandpa and Grandma Sharrow got for Cole to wear home from the hospital when he was born in February. Good thing we live in Duluth -- he may get some use out of it now that it fits him in July!

(Actually, as his mother who gave birth to him, I am quite glad that hat didn't fit when he was born. Ouch!)

Catch-up

Enjoying the excersaucer on the deck
Sleeping on his tummy horizontally in his crib -- this is how we found him one morning!
I said no kid of mine would ever have a mullet.... apparently Cole's grows naturally. Is it too early to get his hair cut?
Remnants in the tub after a bath -- at least it's relatively solid! I guess we have the sweet potatoes to thank for that!

It's been awhile since we've posted new pictures on here, so we'll do a little catching up. Cole is five months old today, and we can't believe how fast our little boy is growing up. He is getting stronger everyday....although we are looking forward to the time when he starts sleeping through the night. Who was it that told us he would be doing that by now? Yes, he is still waking up every 2-3 hours to eat...and I thought I was tired when I was pregnant! Apparently the constant eating is paying off though, he is a chunk! Cole's parents are continuing to feel the effects of lack of sleep however, having not slept more than a few hours continuously in five months! Cole is getting excited to move into his new house in a week and a half!

Late entry

Em's parents came up about a week or so ago to spoil cole (that's what grandparents are for!!) while we did some packing and organizing. Cole was so tired out from all of the attention, that during his afternoon nap he was out coled (get it?). Check out us mean guys playing with sleeping Cole.

Don't tell mommy, but daddy says I look like him!!
