That wasn't flying, that was falling with style!

On this chilly, WINDY day, we decided it was the perfect day to introduce the boys to kite flying in our backyard. Cole picked it up right away! Anytime the kite started to dive toward the ground, Cole would start running and it would go right back up again! We only had a brief moment of despair when Buzz (yes, of course we have a Buzz Lightyear kite) became tangled in the branches of a tree. But fortunately, Daddy was able to quickly free Buzz. We had so much fun, we can hardly wait for another windy day!!

Happy and Healthy!

Grant had his 12-month checkup this past week. He is a very healthy boy! He weighs 24 pounds, 3 ounces, which is the the 66th percentile. He is 30 1/4 inches tall (58th percentile) and his head is 18 1/2 inches around (64th percentile). He is growing like a little weed and walking short distances. He isn't very fast yet, which will give us some time to adjust to chasing a toddler again! He is into everything: drawers, cabinets, his brother's toys....you name it. It is going to be a busy summer!!
