We were having dinner on the deck with Grandma and Grandpa Sharrow, and Cole was fighting valiantly to stay awake - he lost in the end.

The Case of the Secret Roll Overs

There is no picture with this post because no one has ever actually witnessed Cole rolling over. However, we are finding evidence that rolling over has in fact been taking place. Several times in the past few nights, Cole has awoken us with this cries of hunger. That is nothing new. However, upon approaching the crib, we have been finding Cole face-down and frustrated. He is apparently able to roll from his back to his front, and then becomes stuck there. I sat diligently with the video camera today in front of Cole, encouraging him with a Baby Einstein turtle, but to no avail. I will keep watching for opportunities to record this feat and post.....OH SHOOT!! He just did it while I was on the computer! More to come.....

Sail Away

On Saturday we finally got out for the first sail of the season - we were out all day! My (Ryan's) parents, and Josh/Steph/Evan Ward accompanied us. Docked at the end of the Superior channel pier and went swimming/jumping into the still frigid waters of Lake Superior. The boys were VERY tired after the day in the great outdoors! Wind was great, waves were minimal, the sun was shining, and it was 85 degrees - Summer is here!!

Four Months

Cole is now four months old, and at his 4 month checkup this past week he weighed 16 pounds, 10 ounces! He is a chunk -- that is the 82nd percentile in weight. As you can see from the picture, he likes to eat!! Cole also got to meet his Uncle Brad this past weekend who was visiting from California. Today we also went to watch Cole's first Grandma's Marathon.

We're Moving!!!

As of July 25, we will have a new address! We have officially sold our house and our offer has been accepted at our new house. Pending inspections on both properties, we're good to go! Our new house is on 7.5 gorgeous acres and we are very excited! We will finally have more room to have guests, so we will be encouraging people to come and visit! We'd heard nothing but "It's not a seller's market," but we listed our house on Thursday and accepted an offer (for our asking price!) Monday night. Here are a few pictures from the MLS.

Cole has started laughing over the last couple of weeks, and it is just about the cutest thing in the whole wide world!!

Also, only a son of Emily's could stick his toes through an afghan like that!!
